Liv Flaherty’s (Isobel Steele) life is unravelling in Emmerdale. Following the death of Paul Ashdale (Reece Dinsdale), Liv is struggling with her guilt thinking she left Paul to die.
As Liv returns to the bottle to cope with how she’s feeling, the return of her mother Sandra just makes everything worse.
Sandra was last seen in 2016 when she moved away without her and left Aaron (Danny Miller) in charge of looking after Liv.
Liv finally finds her mum at the caravan park and she’s appalled to discover Sandra’s been back in the UK for a few months without bothering to make contact with her.
Liv struggles to get her mum to pay an attention to her troubles but when Sandra produces some booze, Liv is tempted to drown her sorrows once more.
Soon, Liv and Sandra are worse for wear and Liv stumbles and falls to the ground.
Liv watches a message from Aaron urging her to return home, worried about Sandra’s negative influence.
Sandra returns with more booze, but will Liv continue to be under her mother’s influence?
Or will she return home?
