A British gran, 81, who says her Egyptian tomboy, 36, is the ‘best sex she’s ever had’, has posted a heartwarming declaration of love to him online.
Iris Jones has praised husband Mohamed Ahmed Ibriham for the sweet things he does for her, revealing he even cuts her toenails.
It comes after the pair married in Egypt in November 2020 after meeting and hitting it off on Facebook.
In a recent post on social media, Iris said she loves her husband for ‘everything you are and continue to be’.
She wrote: ‘LOVE is… when the one you love cuts your toe nails. LOVE is…when the one you love carries you up two flights of stairs when the lift has broken down.
‘LOVE is… when the one you love spends hours looking for the phone you left in an Uber taxi. ( needle in a haystack) scenario!
‘LOVE is…when [the] one you love sleeps on a hospital floor, and refuses to leave you while you recover from a fall.
‘LOVE is putting up with my temper when I complained about the heat in Egypt! The heat was relentless and so was my complaining!!
‘I love you for everything you are and continue to be, Mohamed.
‘Your patience, your understanding, your resolve, your care and your attention to this sometimes, bad-tempered virago of a wife, who loves you to distraction. Thank you for being you and for loving me.’
The pensioner, from Somerset, went viral when she revealed all about the couple’s steamy sex life to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in 2020.
She told them: ‘The first night was pretty rough. No one had been near me for 35 years, I thought I was a virgin again.
‘We used a whole tube of KY jelly. I couldn’t walk the next day, I felt as if I’d been riding a horse.’
Mohamed, who lives with his parents and siblings in Giza, has proclaimed their relationship is ‘true love’ and says he is not using Iris as a route to money or British residency.
Iris told Metro in January she fears she may have little time left to spend with Mohamed as he struggles to secure a spousal visa for the UK.
Breaking down in tears, she said: ‘I get days when I’m alright and other days when I’m just crying all the time.
‘I’m separated from someone I love, it’s so hard. I haven’t got time on my side, his lawyers know that.’
