The ITV soap mainstay struggles to locate her diary, prompting Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) to return it to her. As her health gets worse, however, she makes a huge decision and calls the doctor to find out if she really has dementia.
Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) is livid to find out Gabby knew this whole time, but soon enough it’s Gabby who pays the price, as her meddling is exposed.
Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele), meanwhile, continues to reach for the bottle as she struggles with the guilt, and ends up inviting a stranger named Max back to her home.
Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), however, is on hand to assist, as she puts the young woman under house arrest until she sobers up.
