Young Samson Dingle (Sam Hall) will follow in his family’s footsteps soon in Emmerdale after Lydia (Karen Blick) is attacked. Wanting revenge, Samson will grab a crowbar – but will he go through with his plan?
When a brick is thrown through their window, protective Samson is worried about leaving Lydia alone. He urges her to call the police about the harassment, but Sam (James Hooton) wants to settle things the Dingle way.
Lydia says she won’t condone violence and assures Sam she can manage the solo trip to the police station. But when she leaves the house, Lydia is attacked by two lads wanting revenge following the pension scam.
Samson happens upon Lydia’s mugging but doesn’t intervene as it transpires he knows the lads.
Upset he didn’t protect Lydia, Samson finds himself caught between Sam’s desire for violent revenge and Lydia’s hope for no more trouble.
When Sam takes Lydia to the police station to make a report, he puts a crowbar into his schoolbag – he’s after payback.
Will Samson kill Lydia’s attackers?
Or will he realise violence isn’t the answer?
